Matahiwi Estate Brut Rosé NV, Wairarapa

The is s delightful, crisp, dry and plush textured wine. Flavours of white fleshed fruits with nuances of red apple and cherry are accentuated by the acid line and light-ish mouthfeel. The time on lees has added to the bouquet and on the palate, a fine mealy texture. Some peach then light red berry fruit flavours begin to emerge as the wine opens up and becomes less cool in glass. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2027.
