Black Cottage Pinot Noir 2022, Central Otago

A bouquet of freshness, vibrancy and variety with scents of black cherry and black currant, there’s a fine savoury quality, a lifted floral layer, and dry stony soil qualities. There’s a youthful core of fruits that need a little time to integrate through the rest of the palate attributes, the lees and wood spice attributes begin to reveal themselves as the wine opens and out. Fine tannins and acidity combine to add structure and breadth across the palate. Well made, youthful and ready to drink from mid to late 2025 through 2030+.
