Carrick Organic Pinot Gris 2020, Bannockburn, Central Otago

Fragrant, varietal and floral with a fruit centric bouquet of pears and apple, spices and a youthful vibrato. Lots of texture as the wine touches the palate with acidity, some super fine fruit tannins and a lees driven complexity. Satin smooth as the wine opens out and warms on the palate, flavours mirror the bouquet. Balanced and well made with a decent length and finesse. A wine that will continue to age with best drinking from 2023 through 2028+.
