Invivo Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, Hawke's Bay

A ripe fruited and enticing bouquet filled with aromas of blackberry and dark plum, some compotes of both then layers of clove and vanilla, some nut and dried herb, violet and moments of graphite and stone. Lovely weight and texture touches the palate first with a firm tannin and youthful acid line then flavours of blackberry and dark red berry and stone fruits. This wine is still very youthful and needs some cellar time to settle and develop. Well made with a lengthy finish offering best drinking from 2025 through 2030+. Decant for service before then and serve high protein food alongside.
