A lovely classic bouquet with aromas of dark red fruits, a bourbon barrel vanilla richness, wood smoke and dark baking spices. Equally powerful on the palate with flavours of raspberry and red berries, currants and toasty wood and vanilla spice layers. Firmish tannins and acidity bring contrast and mouth as well as complexity and Rioja charm. Excellent drinking from 2022 through 2029.
