Fabulous bouquet with layers of red fruit scents melted between a savoury mineral and new wood complexity. The bouquet is also classic Coal Pit and with its’ soft wild thyme layer - classic Otago as well. On the palate - fantastic. A mix of red berries and raspberry, savoury spices and plum, a core of mineral and baking spices of oak, there’s a definitive sweet spot mid palate and a long detailed finish. An abundance of fine polished tannins, medium+ acidity and with myriad spice layers this wine delivers a delicious mouthfeel and harmony. Great drinking from today and through 2032+.
