Waiparore Single Vineyard Pinot Gris 2021, Tutukaka Coast, Northland

Ripe, fruity, fresh, youthful and varietal bouquet with scents of white fleshed fruit and citrus, apple and a salty sea air breeze note. On the palate - an off dry wine with a medium sweetness and low alcohol both giving the wine weight, texture and a rounded mouthfeel. The contrasting acid line along with ripe pear, quince and apple flavours deliver a wine of substance and texture, a core of fruit and balanced even finish. That light salty air note returns too as a salivating texture. Well made and ready to enjoy from 2021 through 2024+.
