Framingham Chardonnay 2019, Marlborough

This is a complete wine - aromas and flavours of fresh, ripe, soft white and yellow fleshed orchard fruits, just the right measure of oak with layers of vanilla, cream and baked custard, some fresh cashew and warm stony mineral moments. Medium+ (ish) acidity, plenty of weight and creamy mouth feel contrasted with a super fine wood tannin layer. Balanced and well made with a fine complex finish. Best drinking from now and through 2024+.
