Made with a blend of Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Cabernet Franc and Merlot - all varieties directly from The Landing vineyards.
Aromas and flavours of dark berries and Ligurian olives, dried herbs and plums, soft brown sugar and old violets, balckberry and a touch of marmite and boot-polish. The oak adds in a layer of dark spices and toastiness. Medium acidity, medium+ weight with a velvet texture from fine tannins. A balanced and well made wine with a harmonious core of fruit, texture, length and finish. A lovely wine ready to pair with many different dishes from classic Italian to Duke Hotel in Russell. Best drinking is from today and through 2023.
