Pisa Range Estate Run 245 Pinot Noir 2018, Central Otago

A complex bouquet loaded with aromas of dried thyme and red cherry; schist, crushed stones and raspberry; toasty vanilla scented oak and French barrel. On the palate - delicious; savoury, fruity, focused and textured. Flavours of fruits reflect the nose, firm youthful tannins and medium+ acidity accentuate the savoury, mineral aspects - all leading to a complex and lengthy finish. Very youthful still with plenty of tension and nervousness. Decant for service or better still - wait till 2022 then enjoy through till 2028.
