Library tasting

Deep ruby core, consistent to the rim with just a hint of variation creeping in. Plenty of primary red fruit aromas with fresh plum and raspberry, dark cherry and a savoury core of dried herb and thyme then oak with smoke and brown spices. Obvious complexity, charm and allure. On the palate - also primary with a plush core of Central Otago cherry and orchard berry fruit flavours. Chalky almost dusty chalk tannins, medium+ acidity, mild savoury feel with dried herbs and spices. Balanced with medium+ length and complexity. If you still have some of this wine in your cellar it will be worth keeping for another 2 - 3 years. It is however drinking very well today.

What a great opportunity - thank you Amisfield
