Unison Symphony Syrah 2014, Gimblett Gravels, Hawkes Bay

Bottle Template 20.png

A totally captivating bouquet with aromas of fresh black pepper and dark berries, raspberry and black currant, no mistaking the smoky oak and suggestions of black leather, violets and tobacco. This is a complex wine with a few reminders of the Northern Rhone. On the palate - firm and youthful with plenty of acidity and ripe tannins, flavours of raspberry, black currant, aged meats, pepper, olive and baked mushroom. A delicious wine, complex and lengthy, great balance and youthful appeal. Best drinking from today and through 2024+.
