Bottle Template (19).png

This new release wine from the Te Motu stable - is their flagship wine - a blended red emulating the best of Bordeaux with a totally New Zealand and Auckland story. Aromas an flavours of dark berries and pencil lead, roasted plums and clove, violets and smoke. Dry, weighty, fresh, youthful and earthy with flavours of dark berries and clay, violets and plums, wood-smoke and dark spices. Tannins are firm, remain youthful and are beginning to integrate well, acidity is medium+, contrasts the fruit and earth flavours adding a crunch to mid and back palate. A lovely wine that requires decanting for service and should be paired with a simple cheese-board. Best drinking from today and through 2028++.
