An immediately engaging bouquet with aromas of oatmeal and peach, moments of clove and vanilla then sweetness of toasty oak, baked apple and grapefruit. Complex and youthful. On the palate - silky then creamy with sweetness of oak and vanilla then quince, peach and apple flavours. Fine tannins, medium+ (ish) acid line, balanced and well made with an intriguing light flinty gun-smoke note. Best drinking from today and through 2023.
