Very alluring aromas of soil then fruit, flowers then oak, baking spices then lees. On the palate - weighty, creamy, fruity, focused and fresh. Flavours suggest white and yellow peach, golden delicious apple and quince. There’s a seam of citrus peel adding tension and flavour then baking spice of vanilla and sweetness of oak. A Burgundian moment draws me in for another taste. A lengthy, intriguing and tasty wine. Drink now and through 2024.
