Coopers Creek Kumeu Rosé 2019, Auckland

Made with Malbec and Merlot this wine has a bright cherry and salmon oil appearance leading to aromas of plums and cherries, very floral with aromas of Auckland rose then peach and strawberry. On the palate - lush, fresh, fruity, balanced, crisp, refreshing and dry. A lovely example that engages the palate and holds my attention. Lengthy finish, well made with flavours that reflect the bouquet. Best drinking from today and through early 2022.
