Bold, rich, fruity and almost exotic with varietal aromas of dark red currants and raspberry, dark red cherry - all laced with toasty barrel aromas with roasted vanilla and clove. On the palate - dry, peppery, fruity with flavours that reflect the nose. Firm youthful tannins, no mistaking the back bone of acidity set against a core of varietal fruit flavours and textures and a lengthy complex building finish. Balanced and well made. Drink now and through 2025.
