Rockburn Pinot Noir 2018, Central Otago

Floral and quite a pretty bouquet with aromas of pink roses and raspberry, plums and red cherries then oak. New, fresh, vibrant and quite complex. On the palate - vibrant and fruity with flavours that reflect the nose. Firm tannins and plenty of acidity combine to form a decent foundation structure for the ripe fruit flavours. Chalky tannins and brown baking spices of oak. Well made, youthful still and lengthy. Best drinking from 2021 through 2026. decant for service.
