Stewart Town The Bounder Pinot Noir 2016, Bannockburn, Central Otago
A bouquet with finesse and charm, a mix of ripe primary red berry fruits, some secondary dried berry moments, barrel spice and soft dried herb moments. On the palate - delicious with a core of red to dark red berry fruits, a chalky tannin and medium+ acid line combine to add power to the structure. Balanced, dry, varietal and fruity, well made with a decent length and finish. Best drinking now and through 2022.
