Stewart Town The Bounder Pinot Noir 2015, Bannockburn, Central Otago

A lovely core of fruit with fresh and dried berries, roses and violets, a soft wood spices, dried stone mineral and dried herb. Quite complex and very enticing. On the palate - a dry wine with fruit flavours that reflect the nose, fine to moderate tannin textures with a mix of chalk and gravel like suggestions, still an abundance of acidity keeping the flavours firm and long through the palate. Balanced and well made, ready. Best drinking is from today and through 2023.
