Giesen

Giesen Single Vineyard Selection Clayvin Pinot Noir 2014, Marlborough

A complex and layered bouquet with a core of minerality suggesting clay and stone aromas then cherry and berry fruits. These ideas continue on the palate with a core of fruit then firm youthful textures from ripe, fine through chalky tannins, plenty of acidity and layers of dried herb, mineral and savoury complexity. A delicious wine with a long fine and complex finish. Drinking well now and through 2025.
