Jules Taylor OTQ SVv Pinot Noir 2017, Marlborough

Really lovely nose of Pinot Noir with spices and red fruits, toasty wood, dark roses and vanilla. On the palate an equally intense wine with flavours that suggest red berries and plums, vanilla and toasty barrel layers. Tannins are ripe, fine, balanced and chalky adding texture and structure; acidity at medium+ adds a freshness and contrast to the core of fruit. Balanced and well made with a lengthy finish and nice layers of complexity. Drink now and through 2024.
