Clouston & Co Pinot Noir 2017, Marlborough

An estate grown Pinot Noir with aromas of raspberry and red cherry, red apple and dried herbs. A light gravelly mineral not adds depth and complexity. On the palate, dry with a generous core of fruit followed immediately with firm youthful tannins and crunchy acidity line. Contrasting red berry fruit flavours and brown spices of oak. Nicely complex, balanced, youthful and well made. Best drinking from 2020 through 2025.
