Rockburn 'The Chosen' Pinot Noir 2023, Abel, Parkburn Vineyard, Central Otago

Aromas of dark berries and plum, boysenberry and raspberry compote, there’s a fine savoury quality reflecting the signature of Central Otago - adding complexity and charm. Floral and very new, layers of complexity and classic Rockburn power. Dry with a core of fruit, an abundance of fine tannins and plenty of acidity then some judicious use of wood. Flinty, floral, fruity and varietal, a wine to be enjoyed from today though best from 2028 through 2034+.
