Kim Crawford 'Small Parcels' Pinot Noir 2023, Central Otago

Lovely colour intensity followed by a freshness of ripe red berry fruits, black currant and roses. There is a mineral earthy quality though quite quiet yet noticed. A dry wine on the palate with flavours of black currant and black cherry first then a strawberry compote and plum suggestion. Fine through moderate tannin impact and with a backbone of acidity the wine remains fresh and lovely. Well made with best drinking from late 2026 through 2032.
