Emma Marris Pinot Noir 2023, Marlborough

A generous fruity bouquet with varietal signatures of cherry and red apple skin, yellow and plum the some soft barrel spice ideas then earth. Fleshy, fruity and dry on the palate with a youthful intensity driven by tannins and acidity, fresh ripe and tart red fruit flavours led by cherry and plum. The mix of earth, spice and acidity present a youthful taut wine with suggesting cellar time is worthwhile as the wine still settles. Best drinking from late 2026 through 2030.
