Tenafeate Creek Wines Basket Press Tempranillo 2023, One Tree Hill, South Australia

Aromas and flavours of dark strawberries and dark plum, some powdered chocolate and cinnamon then scents of dried earth and stones. Firm and dry as the wine touches the palate, textures from the tannins engage the palate quickly followed by fruit flavours to reflect the bouquet. Additional flavours of black tea and a little cedarwood add depth and complexity. Nicely dry and quite long on the finish. Best drinking from 2026 through 2034+.
