Lift from the alcohol emphasises ripeness and concentration of fruits. Dense, richly flavoured and dry as the wine touches the palate. Flavours of inky black raspberry, plum, soy and tobacco, then meat and pepper. A powerful wine that coats the palate with flavour and richness, length and boulevardier style. Youthful and needing time to settle further. Best drinking likely from 2033 through 2043+.
