Colere Ashmore Vineyard Chardonnay 2020, Marlborough

Such an enticing bouquet filled with mineral and lees, flowers, spice, shape and form. There’s no mistaking the variety and one could be mistaken for think this has French origins, a wine with citrus, white fleshed stone fruits, a leesy pull and complexity in the bouquet. Delicious on the palate, silky touch with contrasting core of fruit, texture, spice and mineral. A wine that has grown into its hapy place with flavour, texture and a sense of place. Complex, lengthy and well made. Best drinking from 2024 through 2029.
