Eight Ranges Pinot Noir 2022, Central Otago
A lifted, floral, bright and red fruits laden bouquet. Scents of cranberry, red cherry flesh and a flash of raspberry before scents of crumbled rock and mild oak emerge. Youthful, taut, fresh, fruity and dry as the wine touches the palate. Flavours of cherry and cranberry return enhanced by textures from acidity and tannins. A lighter weighted expression with plenty of pinosity. Well made, still too young though needing another 2-3 years before it will be at its best. Drinking window from late 2025 through 2033.
