Arriba Tempranillo 2022, Spain

Aromas and flavours of black cherry and some roasted plums, there’s a mix of five-spice and aged meats then a dry clay earthy quality. Fleshy, fruity, some firmness from tannins and youth, plenty of acidity and a core of red fruit flavours with a whisper of spice and meat. Balanced and well made with a moderately lengthy finish. Best drinking from 2023 through 2027.
