Ataahua Riesling 2016, Waipara

A lovely bouquet filled with scents of flowers and limes, yellow and green apples, some mineral almost flint quality and a gentle emerging kero’ note. There’s also a toasty bottle age quality which adds a complexity and individuality. Dry on the palate with moderate alcohol and flavours that reflect the bouquet, with core citrus, a pronounced heirloom lemon and apple flavours, medium+ acid line and lengthy finish. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030+.
