An immediately alluring bouquet of place and time, red berry fruits and barrel spices, fallen leaves and pressed rose petals. An earthy mineral quality suggest crushed stone and mushroom. Complex, fragrant and new. A silken mouthfeel as the wine touches the palate, flavours of strawberries and fallen leaves, raspberry flesh and cherry compote laced with baking spices and soft toasty wood quality. The oak and acidity fold into the palate seamlessly with firmish chalky textured tannins and soft barrel spice flavours. Well made, youthful still and with a lengthy finish. Delicious! Best drinking from 2024 through 2034.
