The Landing 'Boathouse' Chardonnay 2020, Bay of Islands, Northland

A smooth textured and very stylish expression of Chardonnay with aromas and flavours of fresh white peach and pear, some apple and grapefruit. There’s a clay soil and fine wood spice quality adding complexity. Fine, pure and new on the palate with a silky texture touching first then flavours of white fleshed orchard fruit with a note of citrus. Tannins are very fine with a salivating acid line pulling all the attributes together. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2025.
