Clark Estate Pinot Gris 2021, Black Birch Single Vineyard Marlborough

Aromas and flavours of ripe white fleshed tree fruits beginning with brown pear and apple, then asian ‘nashi’ pear and white fleshed nectarine. As the wine soaks the palate with flavour and texture a white spice emerges adding texture and depth. A satin texture with fine fruit tannins, medium+-ish acidity and a length sustained finish. Delicious and fresh, balanced and well made, finishing just dry, a love drink from 2022 through 2025.
