Complex, integrated and complete. Aromas of plum and macerated cherry, some leather and baking spice highlights, there’s an aged bottle-developed scents that inlcude dried berry and vanilla with an iodine note collectively urging me to taste and confirm. On the palate - complete, salivating fine and delicious, a wine that exceeds expectations and captures my attention from textures to fine almost dusty tannins to new red berry fruits and leathery-like older ones. Acidity sits at medium with chalky tannins in abundance. A lovely wine with some mystery and style, plenty of complexity and lemgthy finish. Ready now with best drinking from purchase and through 2030.
