Mutu Reserve Chardonnay 2021, Hawkes Bay

A big bold bouquet filled with aromas of baked nuts and roasted peaches, fresh nectarine and brazil-nut butter. The oak is smokey and new, there’s an earthy dry stone quality. A youthful and impressionable bouquet. Full-bodied, creamy, toasty, fruity and delicious. Flavours of stone fruits and ripe grapefruit peel coat the palate with vanilla and brazil nut wood flavours. Fine tannins and medium acid line, a delicous, bold and creamy textured wine with weight and power. Best drinking from 2023 through 2029.
