Chard Farm Eliza Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019, Central Otago

Youthful and intense bouquet with aromas of fresh and primary red berries, cherry and cranberry, some sweet red plum and tart raspberry. Mild scents of oak with a mix of cashew nut and baking spices, a moment of white smoke then minerality. Firm youthful tannins with a piquant bite, plenty of acidity and core of fruit. A young and vibrant wine with a youthful expression on both nose and palate. Best drinking from late 2022/early 2023 and through 2030. Needs time.
