Beneath the initial aromas of sweet French oak and raw cashew nut, a whiff of white smoke and baking spice lies a core of pure white and yellow fleshed stone fruits. Apricot and peach, ripe red apple and grapefruit. A complex youthful bouquet. On the palate - a wine of texture then flavour, dry an weighty, a coarse silk texture with acidity and freshness, a moment of gun-flint then fine tannins and flavours of fruit that reflect the bouquet. Complex, balanced, youthful and well made. Best drinking from 2022 through 2028+.
