Complex, intense perfume, poised, full and rich in character and pinosity both on the nose and palate. Flavours of dried herb and a fine savoury complexity. Plenty of tension and poise on the palate too with firm chalky fruit and wood tannins, fine toasty wood moments and decent acidity line. Cherries and raspberries, old strawberries and a touch of rhubarb juice. Savoury, fine, complex and dry. Lengthy, focused, concentrated an dry. An excellent example.
