Black Barn Rosé 2021, Hawkes Bay

Made from 100% Merlot fruit. Aromas of red apple, peach and orange papaya with a fresh rose and fruit tea scent. Silky smooth on the palate with a core of fruit flavours, contrasting acidity and crisp, refreshing finish. Flavours of red apple and peach mirror the nose. Some very fine fruit tannins and light mealy texture long with a crushed stone mineral flavour engage the palate right on the finish. Balanced, well made and ready. Best drinking from purchase and through the end of summer 2023. Very bright with an oily salmon, onion skin and copper rose appearance.
