Ruru Reserve Pinot Noir 2020, Central Otago

An enticing complex bouquet with a core of pinosity, spice and minerality. Aromas and flavours include dark raspberry and black cherry, cinnamon and clove, vanilla and dry stone mineral complexity. There’s plenty of tension and poise with firm youthful tannins and acidity with a contrasting sweetness of fruit and French oak. Youthful, complex, vibrant and dry with a lengthy finish. Well made nd drinkable today, but best cellared for a while longer. Best drinking from late 2022 through 2026+.
