Butterworth Pinot Noir 2018, Te Muna, Martinborough
Complex, immediately varietal, fruity, woody and fresh with aromas of old strawberry and brown sugar, silty stony earthy qualities, cherries, autumn roses and baking spices of cinnamon and cedar, vanilla and a touch of clove. Equally complex on the palate with flavours of strawberries and berries, silty earth flavours and firm chalky tannin textures. Contrasting acidity, integrating and showing complexity with layers of flavours and textures. Dry lengthy finish, well made and ready to drink from late 2021 through 2026+.
