Great colour and fantastic bouquet with aromas of freshly squeezed raspberries and ripe black currants, vanilla, clove, toasty barrel and stony soils all vying for attention. On the palate - dry, tense, youthful, fruity, textured and flavourful with raspberries and currants, oak, baking spices and a moment of marmite. Firm tannins, plenty of acidity, lengthy finish and nicely complex. A wine for the cellar still - best enjoyed from 2022 through 2026+.
