Sophisticated, elegant, pure, youthful and varietal. There’s a wonderful bouquet of complexity from ripe citrus and stone fruit scents to an abundance of fine lees complexity and gentle barrel spice. A raw cashew nut and heady soil lees complexity layers in breadth and depth without compromising the core varietal signature and sense of place. Delicious on the palate in a natural dry expression, flavours of lemon and grapefruit, white stone fruits and blossoms. The lees and fine oak layer deliver texture and breadth, length and pleasure. A great wine of Marlborough with best drinking from late 2022 through 2028+.
