Complex, youthful, tense and varietal. Aromas of dark berries and toasty barrel, clove and black currant, some fine savoury moments and hard clay earthy qualities. On the palate - firm, dry, complex, youthful then fruity with varietal flavours of dark berries then attributes suggested by the bouquet. Firm tannins with support from acidity require some cellar time to relax and integrate. Well made and needing cellar time with best drinking from 2023 through 2030.
