Ripe and vibrant bouquet with a core of purple-skinned berry fruits, black berry and raspberry compote. Spices of clove and vanilla then sweet new wood. Complexity, richness and youth. As the wine touches the palate a core of fruit bursts into action with flavours that mirror the bouquet. An abundance of moderate tannins emphasising the the oak with its dark spices and toasty qualities. Contrasting acidity, flavours of blackcurrant and violets, some tobacco and sandy mineral moments.
