An immediately enticing bouquet of Syrah with dark berries and peppercorn, wild raspberry, black currant and toasty wood. Very youthful, but revealing concentration, focus and promise. On the palate - very tense, youthful and dry. Flavours of tart raspberry, some black cherry, damson plum, violets and dark spices of oak with clove then sweet vanilla. Medium tannins packed with texture and flavour, plenty of acidity and length. A delicious wine ready to be placed in your cellar till 2022 then enjoy through 2026+.
