Two Rivers Altitude Sauvignon Blanc 2018, Marlborough
From the Saint Maur Vineyard - aromas and flavours of ripe, fresh and baked citrus fruits - lemon and grapefruit; apple and vanilla, cape gooseberry and peach. Nice and complex, enticing and curious. On the palate - there’s complexity and texture, fruit flavours and mineral, whispers of a flinty stony spice then a wild flowers suggestion. Plenty of acidity, medium (ish) weight, great balance and length. As the wine warms in glass - the better it gets. A very modern and appealing expression of SB. Best drinking from today and through 2023.
