Bodvár No5 Rosé 2018, Côtes de Provence

no5rose.png

Hues of apricot and deep onion skin lead to aromas of fresh and baked peach, peach tea then apple. Other aromas of dried rose petal and mineral then a quiet yellow cherry note. On the palate - a silky texture ten leads to flavours of yellow stone fruits and apple, I do notice a slightly warmer note from the alcohol, but this adds weight and texture to the core of fruit. There’s a super fine tannin layer adding a touch of texture. Balanced and ready with medium+ acidity, finishes dry and ready. Best drinking from today and through 2022.
